How to Pay for KASNEB Services on the e-Citizen Platform in Kenya

The Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board KASNEB integrated its services with the e-Citizen platform. Following the shift, all KASNEB services are done through the eCitizen Paybill Number 222222.
What Is the e-Citizen Platform?
e-Citizen is an online portal developed by the Government of Kenya to provide access to various public services in one centralized location. The platform provides diverse services including applying for passports to accessing KRA services and now KASNEB.

KASNEB Students and professionals can now access a wide range of KASNEB services on e-Citizen, including:
Registration for new students
Examination booking and payment
Renewal of annual registration fees
Deferment fees
Certificate storage fees
Remarking fees
Steps for Payment of KASNEB Services on the e-Citizen
To make payment for KASNEB services students should:
Log in to the student portal at <https://online.kasneb.or.ke/>
Tap ‘PAY NOW ‘where it asks you to “Choose Payment Option”
The system will automatically process the payment using the MPESA account number displayed.
Input a different phone number to make payments if you wish to use an alternative number
You should receive a payment popup on your phone
Input your MPESA PIN, then tap OK.
You will receive a confirmation SMS on your phone
The student who choose to pay later should follow the following steps:
Enter 222222 as the Pay Bill Number
Enter the payment account Number (As generated via the eCitizen)
Key in the exact amount as per the generated invoice.
Enter your pin and click ‘SEND’
Wait for the confirmation SMS
