9.8 Project completion and evaluation
Project completion and evaluation refer to the final stages of the project life cycle, where the project is completed and its results are evaluated.
Project completion involves wrapping up all project activities, closing out contracts, releasing resources, and formally handing over the project deliverables to stakeholders.
Project evaluation involves reviewing the project’s performance to determine its success in meeting its objectives and goals. This includes reviewing the project schedule, budget, and quality of deliverables, as well as evaluating the satisfaction of stakeholders and the impact of the project on the organization.
