4.6 NATIONAL AND OUNTY PLANS AND POLICIES
National and county plans and policies refer to the strategic frameworks and specific measures developed by the national and subnational governments to guide development and governance at their respective levels.
National plans and policies
- National development plans: National development plans outline the long-term vision, goals, and strategies for a country’s overall development.
- Sectoral policies: It formulates sectoral policies to address specific issues or sectors within the country..
- Economic policies: Economic policies at the national level focus on promoting economic growth, stability, and competitiveness.
- Social policies: Social policies address social issues, welfare, and equity. They include policies related to education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, social protection, gender equality, and social inclusion.County plans and policies
