1. Introduction
This Community Guidelines & Student Code of Conduct explains the behaviour expected from students and users of RCM Online College, operated by RCM Online College Limited.
These Guidelines apply to the RCM Online College website, mobile applications, learning management system, live classes, Zoom sessions, student groups, forums, messaging features, assignments, comments, uploads, certificates, and related services.
2. Purpose of These Guidelines
RCM Online College is committed to providing a respectful, safe, professional, and productive online learning environment.
These Guidelines are intended to:
- Promote respectful learning and communication.
- Protect students, tutors, staff, and the wider learning community.
- Prevent abuse, harassment, cheating, fraud, and misuse of the platform.
- Support academic integrity and professional conduct.
- Ensure fair use of groups, forums, messaging, and learning resources.
3. General Student Responsibilities
All students and users are expected to:
- Use the platform for lawful and educational purposes only.
- Treat tutors, staff, and other students with respect.
- Use accurate account and registration information.
- Protect their login details and avoid sharing accounts.
- Participate honestly in courses, assignments, and assessments.
- Follow instructions given by tutors, administrators, and support staff.
- Respect the rights, privacy, and dignity of other users.
4. Respectful Communication
Students must communicate respectfully in all areas of the platform, including forums, groups, messages, live classes, comments, assignments, and support channels.
The following are not allowed:
- Insults, threats, bullying, intimidation, or harassment.
- Hate speech or discriminatory language.
- Abusive, obscene, offensive, or inappropriate comments.
- Personal attacks against students, tutors, or staff.
- Disruptive conduct that interferes with learning.
5. Groups, Forums, and Discussions
RCM Online College may provide student groups, discussion forums, activity feeds, comments, and class interaction spaces.
Students must use these spaces for academic discussion, peer support, course engagement, and appropriate learning-related communication.
Students must not:
- Post irrelevant, misleading, abusive, or harmful content.
- Share unauthorized advertisements or promotional content.
- Spam groups, forums, or discussion areas.
- Post false information about RCM Online College, tutors, staff, or other students.
- Share private information about another person without permission.
- Disrupt discussions or repeatedly post unrelated content.
6. Messaging and Student Interaction
Where messaging features are available, students must use them responsibly and respectfully.
Messaging must not be used for:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation.
- Unwanted repeated contact.
- Sharing offensive or inappropriate content.
- Soliciting money, business, employment, or unrelated services.
- Sharing exam answers or unauthorized academic material.
- Sending spam, scams, or suspicious links.
7. Profile Photos and User Identity
Students should use accurate and appropriate account information. Profile photos, usernames, and displayed information must not be misleading, offensive, impersonating, or inappropriate.
RCM Online College may remove profile images or account information that violates these Guidelines or affects the professionalism of the learning community.
8. Live Classes and Zoom Etiquette
Students attending live classes, webinars, Zoom sessions, tutorials, or revision sessions must behave professionally.
Students are expected to:
- Join classes on time where possible.
- Use their real name or approved student identity.
- Mute microphones when not speaking.
- Participate respectfully.
- Follow tutor instructions.
- Avoid disrupting the session.
Students must not:
- Share class links with unauthorized persons.
- Record live sessions without permission.
- Disrupt the class through noise, spam, or inappropriate behaviour.
- Use offensive language in chat, audio, video, or screen sharing.
- Impersonate another student, tutor, or staff member.
9. Academic Integrity
Students must complete assignments, quizzes, coursework, and assessments honestly.
The following are prohibited:
- Cheating.
- Plagiarism.
- Submitting another person’s work as your own.
- Sharing answers to quizzes, tests, or assessments.
- Using unauthorized materials in assessments.
- Manipulating course progress, completion status, or certificate eligibility.
- Paying another person to complete coursework on your behalf.
10. Assignments, Uploads, and File Sharing
Students may be allowed to upload assignments, files, images, documents, or other materials as part of learning activities.
Uploaded content must be relevant, lawful, safe, and appropriate.
Students must not upload:
- Malware, viruses, or harmful files.
- Copyrighted materials they do not have permission to share.
- Offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content.
- False, misleading, or fraudulent documents.
- Private information belonging to another person without permission.
- Materials intended to cheat, mislead, or manipulate academic outcomes.
11. Protection of Learning Materials
Course materials provided by RCM Online College are for personal learning use only.
Students must not:
- Share course videos, notes, PDFs, recordings, or downloads with unauthorized persons.
- Upload RCM Online College materials to public websites, social media, messaging groups, or file-sharing platforms.
- Sell, resell, copy, reproduce, or distribute course content.
- Record classes, screenshots, or course content without permission.
- Use RCM Online College materials to create competing courses or services.
12. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
- Account sharing or selling access to another person.
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or bypass platform security.
- Using bots, scraping tools, or unauthorized automation.
- Fraudulent payments or chargeback abuse.
- Certificate fraud, alteration, or misuse.
- Harassment, threats, or intimidation.
- Posting illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
- Misusing community spaces for unrelated promotion or spam.
- Impersonating RCM Online College staff, tutors, or other students.
13. Tutor and Staff Interaction
Students must communicate with tutors, administrators, and support staff respectfully.
RCM Online College will not tolerate harassment, insults, threats, abusive language, intimidation, or repeated unreasonable demands directed at tutors, staff, or support teams.
14. Reporting Misconduct
Students may report misconduct, abuse, harassment, cheating, suspicious activity, or inappropriate content to RCM Online College.

15. Moderation and Enforcement
RCM Online College may review, moderate, edit, restrict, hide, or remove content that violates these Guidelines, our Terms of Service, academic standards, or applicable law.
Depending on the severity of the violation, RCM Online College may take one or more of the following actions:
- Issue a warning.
- Remove content.
- Restrict messaging, posting, or group access.
- Remove a student from a live class or group.
- Suspend course access.
- Cancel certificate eligibility.
- Revoke or invalidate a certificate.
- Suspend or terminate the student account.
- Report unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities where necessary.
16. Appeals or Review
A student who believes enforcement action was taken in error may contact RCM Online College for review.
Review requests should be respectful, factual, and submitted using the contact details provided in this Policy.
RCM Online College may accept, reject, or modify enforcement decisions at its discretion based on the available information and applicable policies.
17. Relationship With Other Policies
These Guidelines should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund & Rescheduling Policy, Account Deletion Policy, and Cookie Policy.
Where there is a conflict between these Guidelines and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall apply unless otherwise required by law.
18. Updates to These Guidelines
RCM Online College may update these Community Guidelines & Student Code of Conduct from time to time to reflect changes in our services, platform features, academic operations, legal requirements, or student community needs.
The updated version will be posted on our website.
