How to Activate a Dormant KASNEB Account
KASNEB (Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board) students can take a break from their studies due to personal commitments or other unavoidable circumstances. When such a break extends over a long period, the student’s KASNEB account may become dormant.
Upon resuming their studies, affected students are required to reactivate their dormant accounts before they can register for courses or book examinations. Account reactivation ensures that the student regains access to the KASNEB online portal and can continue with their academic progression without disruptions.
Students are therefore advised to initiate the reactivation process early to avoid delays, especially when preparing for an upcoming examination sitting.

Step 3: Review and Confirm Renewal Details
Carefully review the renewal information displayed, including the applicable renewal fee. Ensure that all details are accurate, then click Next to proceed to the payment stage.
Step 4: Generate Invoice and Make Payment
The system will automatically generate an invoice for the renewal. Click Proceed to Payment to continue. Payment is made through the e-Citizen platform using the following details:

- Account Number: Your unique invoice account number
Students are advised to complete the payment promptly and retain proof of payment for reference.
Step 5: Account Reactivation
After the payment has been received and processed by KASNEB, your student account will be reactivated. The account status will update from Dormant/Inactive to Active, allowing you to proceed with course registration and examination booking.
