Achieving success in the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) exams is a significant milestone for any student. After each exam session, KASNEB releases results, and candidates are informed of their results via email, SMS, or through the KASNEB portal. Students who pass all sections of the final part of the Certificate, Diploma, or Professional exams are eligible to receive their official certificates.

It is important to collect your KASNEB certificate through the specified methods to avoid incurring unnecessary storage fees or facing other inconveniences. To boost your chances of success in future KASNEB exams, enroll in CIFA, CFFE, CPA, CS, and ATD classes at RCM Online College today!

Methods for Collecting KASNEB Certificates

KASNEB offers several options for certificate collection. Whether in person, by postal mail, or email, here are the methods you can use to receive your certificate:

1. Collecting in Person

You can collect your KASNEB certificate in person by visiting a KASNEB office. Since certificates are sensitive documents, you will need to present specific documents before collection, including:

  • A national identity card or valid passport
  • Your KASNEB student identity card

This ensures that certificates are collected by the rightful candidate, maintaining the integrity of the process.

2. Email Request

If you prefer to receive your certificate digitally, you can request it via email. Send an email to [email protected] and attach a scanned copy of your national identity card. The certificate will then be sent to you electronically.

3. Postal Mail

For those who prefer receiving their certificates by mail, KASNEB offers the option of sending certificates through registered postal mail. You must send a written request to KASNEB, along with copies of the following:

  • National identity card or valid passport
  • KASNEB student identity card

Make sure to include a reliable postal address and your mobile telephone number to ensure safe delivery of your certificate. You can also drop off your written request at KASNEB Huduma Centre counters located at GPO-Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Kisii, Eldoret, and Nyeri.

Please note: While KASNEB will send certificates through registered mail, the institution is not responsible for non-receipt of the certificates due to postal issues.

Copies of Certificates and Storage Fees

KASNEB does not issue copies of certificates. In the unfortunate event that your certificate is lost or destroyed, KASNEB can provide a confirmation letter as proof of your examination history.

If you fail to collect your certificate within the stipulated time, you may incur a storage fee. From 1st April 2020, uncollected certificates attract a storage fee of Sh.100 per month per certificate. Make sure to collect your certificate promptly to avoid these charges.
