REGISTER OF DIRECTORS
Every company shall keep a register of directors.
The following particulars of directors must be entered in the register:
- Past and present names
- Nationality and residential address
- Business occupation
- Date of birth
- Date of appointment
- Date of vacation of office
- Other directorships-these must list the exact names of companies in which the director is currently a director.
The register shall remain open during business hours for inspection by:
- Any member of the company without charge
- Any other person on payment of a fee
If the company refuses to allow member to inspect the register, that member may apply to the court for an inspection order to be given.
In case of a body corporate acting as director, the register shall contain the following particulars
- The body corporate name
- The registered office of the body
