Estates in land
Estates in land refer to the degree, nature, or extent of ownership or interest an individual or entity has in real property. Estates define the rights and duration of ownership. Common types of estates include:

Servitudes on land
These are rights in alieno solo i.e. a right conferring a power on another’s land for the benefit of the right holder or his estate.

Encumbrances:
Encumbrances are interests, rights, or restrictions that limit the use or transfer of real property. While encumbrances can affect property rights, they do not transfer ownership or grant specific usage privileges. Common encumbrances include:
