Collection of Certificates – KASNEB

A recent notice by KASNEB (Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board) on its social media pages indicates that certificates for eligible students (sat for exams and qualified for award of certificates) during the December 2024 examination sitting are ready for collection. Collection of the certificates commenced on Saturday 8th February 2025. Eligible KASNEB students who do not collect their certificates by 1st June 2025 will incur storage costs.

Options of Collecting KASNEB Certificates

Eligible KASNEB students can use different options for certificate collection including:

  • Email request: Request a digital copy by emailing [email protected] with a scanned copy of your National ID. The certificate will be sent electronically
  • In-person Collection: Visit KASNEB Towers in Nairobi or Huduma Centres in major towns including Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret.
  • Postal mail: Send a written request to KASNEB, including a copy of your National ID and KASNEB Student ID, along with your postal address. Certificates are sent via registered mail, but KASNEB is not responsible for non-receipt due to postal issues.

 

Requirements for Certificate Collection

  • KASNEB Student ID Card: Must be presented during in-person collection or included in postal/ email requests.
  • National ID or Valid Passport: Must be presented for identification purposes.
  • Written Request: Necessary for postal or email requests. Students should submit a formal letter or email detailing the request and providing your contact information.

 

Procedure for Postal Delivery

To receive KASNEB certificates through the postal mail eligible KASNEB students should:

  • Send a written request to KASNEB. The written request MUST include a: copy of your National, Identity Card or valid passport, mobile telephone number and a reliable postal address.
  • The students should deliver the request to KASNEB offices or any of their Huduma Centre counters located in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Kisii, Eldoret, and Nyeri. Alternatively, a student can email the request to [email protected].

 

Procedure for Email Delivery:

To receive KASNEB certificates through e-mail eligible KASNEB students should:

  • Send an email to [email protected] with a scanned copy of your National Identity Card or valid passport. Details to include: full name, registration number, and a reliable email address.
  • The certificate will be sent to you electronically

 

Storage Fees for Uncollected Certificates

Eligible students who fail to collect their certificates within the stipulated time period incur storage fees. Specifically, KASNEB charges a storage fee of Ksh. 100 per month for certificates that remain uncollected after the stipulated time (usually 4-6 months after results are released)
